The Silver City Surfers (SCS) Charity provides free one-to-one tutoring for people aged 55+, in the use of technology and how to surf the Internet safely. Silver City Surfers was set up in 2005 by a group of older people for older people. Our sessions link a social aspect with learning in a supportive and encouraging environment tailored to the individual, where people feel comfortable learning something new.

The charity’s main base is the Citadel, 28 Castle Street, Aberdeen although we have no affiliation to the Salvation Army. SCS also provides outreach sessions in other parts of the city. (For more details, please visit our website www.silvercitysurfers.co.uk)
