Musician/Teacher (Upper & Lower Strings) Big Noise Raploch, Stirling

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as part of the dynamic team in Big Noise Raploch delivering a visionary, socially driven children’s orchestra centre.

At Big Noise Raploch you will be part of a team who work with children from pre-school, primary school, secondary school and adults. The team are creative in designing and introducing new ways of learning as we use the orchestra to grow children’s confidence, respect, aspiration, drive and understanding.

As part of the team, you will develop innovative ways to engage children and families, including home visits and community performances.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, experience of working with large and varied groups of children is essential, along with a track record of success in giving music instruction to children on your specialist instrument.

We have three part time posts available:

• Upper Strings – A permanent post, working 3 days a week in term time only (days TBC)
• Upper Strings – A temporary post (for approx 1 year), working 4 days a week all year round (Monday to Thursday)
• Lower Strings – A temporary post (for approx 1 year), working 2 days a week all year round (Tuesday and Wednesday)
