With over 30 years experience, Young Scot is the national youth information and citizenship charity for 11-25s in Scotland. We understand that every young person is different and provide a universal service which meets their ever-changes needs.

Our services give young people trusted and relevant information on everything from money-management and exam stress to relationships and mental health. Giving young people meaningful opportunities which benefits them is another key part to our work. Over half a million young people have the Young Scot Card, which means 60% of Scottish young people can enjoy and benefit from the range of services it offers – discounts, Rewards, PASS, cashless catering and local leisure activities.

Young people are at the heart of everything we do and play a leading role in co-designing and shaping our services and those we work with. We engage with over 30,000 young people every year and believe that they should have their say in key policy and decision making which affects their world now and in the future.

People & Partnerships

We are collaborative in our approach and enjoy nothing more than working with cross-sector partners who share our values and belief in young people. We have a long-standing partnership with all 32 local council areas in Scotland, Local Authority Network, which helps us deliver localised services direct to young people.

We believe this joined-up way of working helps deliver the best value, while ensuring that all of Scotland’s young people have the ability to thrive. We are committed to support Community Planning Partners deliver their Single Outcome and National Performance Frameworks by developing adoptions of services to support their own provision for young people.
