Autism Practitioner - Children's Services

We have a part time position in our Children's Services team for 16 hours per week.

The role is varied and fun and along with fantastic learning and development opportunities, you will be supported to complete your SVQ3 Children and Young People qualification, allowing you to progress in our organisation to Senior Autism Practitioner or Co-ordinator, or kick start your career in childcare/youth work.

The role is working with children in both our term time after school activities and our school holiday programme. This means your hours of work will change from term time to holiday time, but you will be advised one month in advance of your hours changing.

Through term time you will work 16 hours per week and hours will be worked within Monday - Friday (days are negotiable) and will usually be on a shift pattern between the hours of 4.00pm and 8.30pm.

During the school holidays, you will wok hours through the day within Monday - Friday between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm, again days are negotiable.

We also deliver activities across Perth & Kinross at our outreach hubs in Highland Perthshire, Crieff, Blairgowrie and Kinross and mileage is paid for travel to these areas.
