Our amazing #TeamPackman in Buckie are now on the lookout for a *female colleague to join them on a part-time basis (25 hours). So, if you're caring and patient with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour, you could be just who we're looking for!

The Role

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be to provide support to a fun-loving lady in her own home in Buckie. You'll assist with all aspects of her daily life including finances, medication, cooking and housework. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic about supporting her with hobbies and interests too, these include swimming, bingo, going to the cinema, pamper days and a variety of in-house & outdoor activities.

About You

Don't have experience, don't worry, here at Cornerstone we recruit on values and transferrable skills. It's not about what experience and qualifications you have, we're interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We have our own Training Academy who'll support you by giving you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too. However, as the lady we support has her own mobility car, we are looking for someone with a full driving licence for this particular vacancy.

All we need you to bring is:-

  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • A full UK driving license

Shift Patterns

As we are dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shifts currently fall into patterns of 1100-2000 hours, 1200-2100 hour or 0700-1100 hours the next day (includes a sleepover). Shifts are subject to change should the person we support's circumstances change.

Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours. You will receive an additional payment of £96 for every sleepover shift that you work!

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!
