The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, welcoming team who supports three individuals with physical and learning disabilities in their own shared home. There's never a dull moment and no two days are ever the same.

You'll support each individual with all aspects of daily living and you'll also help them all to play an active part in their local community too. Some of their hobbies and interests include arts & crafts, gardening, going out for walks and getting out and about in their local community.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

We are ideally looking for drivers for these opportunities, but this isn’t a deal breaker for the right candidates.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0800-2100 hours and will include a 24 hour sleepover shift on a rotational basis. Sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would be worked on a rotational basis.

Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £96 per sleepover shift worked.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

We are looking to fill these vacancies as soon as possible and hold the right to close our advert early if we find suitable candidates before the closing date. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
