Post Title: Information Governance Officer
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term - 20 months
Salary: HC07 £32,814 - £36,727 p.a.

Job Purpose: As a member of the Council’s Information Governance Team, to contribute to the development of the Information Governance Programme which incorporates information management standards, risk management, records management, and compliance with information security standards, data protection legislation and access to information legislation.
To advise Council services on effective information management and assist with establishing the Council as a centre of excellence in information management.
To advise Services on aspects of compliance with legislation and corporate policies.
