The post for a Deputy Manager has become available at our Musselburgh Home. You will need previous experience working in the care environment for at least 2 years. You will need a good command of English, be flexible, reliable, thorough and well organised and to have experience with client group. Have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential. Also you must be computer literate.
You will work closely with the Manager to ensure standards of care are practiced within the home. Building relationships with clients, staff, family as well as outside agencies. Have a knowledge and understanding of Health and Support Standards "My support my life" completing audits, involvement in client reviews preparation and setting up review dates. Also knowledge of medication ordering, dispensing and returns. Deputising in the absence of the Home Manager. Ensuring high standards of practice are being maintained in the Care Home in line with SSSC codes of practice.
You will work within a team that contributes to maximising, motivating and encouraging the personal development and independence of the clients in all aspects of daily living within the home and in the community.
Wage £25,000 - negotiable
