The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity, based in a new purpose built home located within Bellahouston Park.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice provides high quality compassionate specialist palliative care for 1200 new patients and their families every year to achieve the best quality of life.

Glasgow's Hospice currently cares for people from a geographical area that spans South Glasgow including East Renfrewshire with a population of about 345,000.

We understand that people need help to cope with the consequences of being diagnosed with a life-limiting or life-shortening illness, and we work as a team to provide specialist holistic care and support during their time with us and beyond.

Our team of doctors, nurses, therapists, counsellors, chaplains, social workers and volunteers, treat patients in their own homes, at other places of care, and in the hospice.

As well as our healthcare professionals, we have a varied team of individuals who work across the hospice to support our clinical services team and to ensure that we meet our fundraising targets.

By joining us you will be joining a community of highly skilled palliative care experts, care-givers and experienced support staff, who share our values of compassionate care, team unity, fairness and integrity, dignity and respect, and striving for excellence. By working alongside us you will become part of this team, in an organisation that values working together towards one shared aim; looking after the people of Glasgow.

Teamwork is how we deliver exceptional care in exceptional circumstances.

Teamwork is how we function and thrive.

Teamwork is how we support each other and the people we look after.

‘Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days.’
