Medics against Violence is a health led charity registered in Scotland known for running successful projects including our award winning MAV Schools programme led by our medical volunteers, Ask, Support, Care (ASC) our domestic abuse training programme and our support programmes Navigator, Youth Navigator and Pathfinder. We've been established as a charity since 2009.

Navigator, Youth Navigator and Pathfinder employ workers to support adults and young people in Emergency Departments and communities with complex social issues such as addiction, violence, homelessness, mental health issues and domestic abuse. Through these programmes we work across Scotland with a wide range of statutory and third sector partners. We receive some funding from the Scottish Government. More information on the charity and the work we do is available on our website: www.mav.scot
