Do you want to make a difference to the lives of Older People?

If you do, we would love to hear from you.

Bield Housing and Care strongly believe that older people should be free to make their own choices and be able to live as independently as possible. If you share these values we’d love you to join our team.

We are recruiting Care Assistants - these roles support our values and would offer you the opportunity to work within an organisation that is committed to making a difference to the lives of older people. There are part time permanent and casual roles available.

Hours of employment are varied and if you are invited to attend an interview, you will be advised the hours available within the invitation. You should include your preferences in your supporting statement within the application as well.

Your shift availability will be discussed at the interview, however, you should be able to work at our peak times throughout the day and at weekends on a weekly rota basis.

What We Offer:

A comprehensive training and induction programme.

An hourly rate of £11.68

A rota that can be flexible to ensure that you have a good work life balance.

Occupational Sick Pay

Excellent Annual Leave allowance with the option to buy and sell Annual leave each year.

If you have a genuine interest in delivering the best possible care to older people please get in touch.

Whilst experience in working in care is desirable, we want to recruit people who share our values and want to make a difference to the lives of others. We have a comprehensive training programme that will support new colleagues with limited experience in care.

Most importantly, we want to hear from people who have a genuine interest in people and supporting them to lead their best life.

You must be able to achieve SSSC registration within regulatory timescales.

Please see the attached Job Description for further information on the role.

If you require this information in an alternative format, please contact us using the details above.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) which means you must disclose all unspent and relevant spent convictions on your application.
