The Service Development Manager works alongside the Head of Service to ensure we provide high-quality education and social care support to our students. This role provides leadership to Centre Managers and our Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring that centre operations and our compliance meet our standards of support. This role has a responsibility for driving effective and efficient practices across our Teens+ centres.
Who are we looking for?
The successful applicant will have proven experience of working with adults with additional support needs using a person-centred approach.
You will be able to demonstrate positive people leadership while developing and supporting others. You will have previous experience of operational planning which will include staffing and staff training and development. You will be a skilled communicator who can deal sensitively and appropriately with difficult situations. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in sometimes pressurised environment
The successful applicants will require membership of the PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
