We are A, K and L, three ladies in our 50s and 60s who share our home together in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh.

In the past, we have all faced challenges because of our learning disabilities and physical mobility issues, but this hasn’t stopped us from enjoying life! We enjoy lots of activities, including going shopping, exploring Edinburgh, meeting new people and attending local clubs and events in the Gilmerton area.

Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure we are happy and safe in own home. This can include:

• Supporting us with medication

• Cooking

• Assisting us with personal care and mobilising within our home (training is provided to help with this)

• Maintaining our homes and managing our finances

Our team provide support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends. We are looking for full-time and part-time Support Workers and our shift patterns are:

• 07.00 - 14.00

• 14.00 - 21.00

• 21.00 - 07.00 (waking night - there are no vacancies for night shift at this time)
