With all of the gentlemen enjoying getting out and about in their local community, you'll also find yourself getting involved in things like playing pool, football, darts, going for walks and day trips.

About You

At Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team! We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn

It would be great is you also have a full clean driving license as some of the gentlemen we support have their own mobility cars, however this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best care and support possible, shift patterns will involve working early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, public holidays and weekends on a rotational basis.

The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours and you will receive a payment of £87 for every sleepover worked.

Please note that we are unable to work these posts around a university or college timetable.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!
