Our fabulous #TeamDrumpellier is on the lookout for a patient and understanding *male colleague to join their team in Wishaw as a Support Practitioner.


The Role


​​​​​​​With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. The gentleman we support has Autism and is very structured in his routine, he does enjoy going out on the buses and for walks. Our friendly and supportive team work on a 1:1 basis to encourage him to try new activities at his own pace.


​​​​​​​Experience of Autism whether in a work environment or in your personal life would be advantageous, although full training will be given.

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • Great communication skills.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Able to think outside the box.
  • Caring attitude and approach.
  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Able to follow guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support on a 3 week rolling rota which will normally include 7 shifts over the 3 weeks including sleepovers.


Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £105 per night.
