The Role

Situated in Dumbarton, Baxter View is a purpose build facility that provides support to 8 individuals with complex needs and support in their own flats. This is an exciting, varied role, where no two days are the same!

As a Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care. You'll take an active interest in their hobbies and interests which include exploring new locations, going for walks, listening to music and taking part in arts and crafts. With your guidance and care, you'll help the people we support be an active member of their local community. Our team provides 1:1 support to empower individuals to make choices, promote their independence and live a valued life.

It would be great if you had a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, however, this isn't a deal breaker!

All we need you to bring is;

  • Experience in providing care
  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
