Support Worker/Carer

DDL Care Services is a private care at home company based in Peebles that covers the area of Peebles, Cardrona and Innerleithien covering a range of clients with differing needs.

All care is undertaken in the clients own home and the tasks you perform on a daily basis vary greatly. The tasks can include administering medication, undertaking personal care and continence care, meal preparation, escorting clients to appointments or helping with shopping.

Part time/Full time

Hours of Work:

Saturday/Sunday - Day Shift (7.00am to 3.00pm) or Back Shift (3.00pm to 11.00pm). Please note if you work day shift one weekend you will be back shift the following weekend.

Experience and skills:

Experience of working in the care sector is advantageous but not necessary as full training is provided. It is more important that you have the right attitude and commitment to wanting to help others.

Access to a vehicle and clean driver’s licence is advantageous.
