• To provide assistance with key tasks which maintain the independence and lifestyle of a client in their own home.
• To work to an agreed care plan with vulnerable individuals to achieve maximum independence and help them maintain control over their lives.
• To support and enable individuals to achieve agreed goals through an enablement approach.
• To carry out personal care tasks with individuals, including washing dressing, providing assistance to rise/go to bed, assist with meals/feeding, continence management and foot care.
• To manage medication, where need assessed, according to policy guidelines, including administering, recording, ordering, collecting medication..
