Mayfield Lodge Residential Home

Mayfield Lodge Residential Home provide 24-hour support to 12 adults with Learning Disabilities. 

We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Practitioner on a full time permanent contract (40 hours per week). Hours will include day shifts, nightshifts and weekends. 

Applicants should have SVQ 3 Social Services and Healthcare or be willing to work towards this qualification. Applicants should also have a full driving license. 

At Mayfield Lodge we provide person centred care to all of our residents and assist them with planning and attending activities and appointments, planning menus, assisting with personal care, supporting family visits and outings, cooking, laundry, administering medications and managing resident's finances. 

Successful applicants will have a full PVG Disclosure completed and we will also require 2 references from previous employers. 

Senior Support Practitioners should also have experience in ordering of medication, liaising with relevant medical professionals, reviewing care plans and liaising with family members and welfare guardians. 

Full training in Infection Prevention and Control and Conflict Management will be provided. There is an induction period of 2 weeks prior to starting this role.
