Our Ravenswood Housing Support Service based in Kirkintilloch provides temporary supported accommodation and follow-on outreach support to homeless households with additional support needs.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed and self-motivated Housing Support Worker Nights who is enthusiastic with the ability to effectively ensure that they deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality support to the individuals who use the service. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, enthusiastic and positive working towards addressing support needs such as health and well being, emotional and psychological trauma and crisis intervention.

Shift working, including weekends, is a requirement of the post. Flexibility and short notice working may be required.

You should possess excellent communication skills; have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £11.10 per hour.  We also offer an £800 joiner bonus, after successful completion of probation.

If successful but unqualified, you will have to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory requirements but don’t worry we will support you with this.
