Help transform lives like Sean and Alexs.

Hi, I’m Sean and I come to Roslin House to give my mum and dad a break. Its important you get to know me.

I enjoy activities like sensory play, outdoors activities – going to the park and splashing in puddles. I also like to put wigs on, dress up and dance. My favourite thing to do it to be a ‘hair stylist’ – I love doing fun hairstyles. Together we can make these moments even more enjoyable.

When it comes to supporting me, I require someone who can support me with daily tasks and personal care. I can sign some Makaton and will copy you if you sign to me. I can say words but not full sentences but can effectively communicate my needs. I like Tac Pac and hard pressure to calm me down when I am over excited or anxious. You must have good values, have patience and can show empathy.

Are you ready to make a real difference to me and people like me?

Hi I’m Alex I am 15 years old and I live in the Muirfield Place service – this is my home. I go to school during the day and after school I sometimes like to chill out or I might have clubs on which I go to. My favourite thing is technology – I love my phone, ipad and other gadgets and these are very important to me. I am a typical teenager. I love to dance, rap and sing and would like staff who are fun and active. I need support developing my independence so would like staff to include me in carrying out tasks like cooking and tidying up.

I am looking for someone who is kind, fun and can make me laugh! Someone who is reliable and will support me through the ups and the downs.
