Quarriers Hawthorn Cottage Project is situated in the Lenzie area of Kirkintilloch, there are 4 people with learning disabilities supported within the service.

We are looking for two part-time support workers (20 hours each) to support the people by providing direct physical assistance, emotional support, advice, and encouragement in all areas of everyday living. This can range from help with housework, to enjoying a full and active life through activities in the community.

The successful candidates should have strong self-awareness, resilience and excellent people skills, who are flexible and committed.

Experience of working in the field of learning disabilities would be an advantage however not essential as we offer excellent training and learning and development opportunities to enhance the support you deliver.

Hours can be discussed at interview, and we will be flexible where possible.
