Your new opportunity

Quarriers East Dunbartonshire Phase 3 service is spread across East Dunbartonshire within Bearsden, Milngavie and Milton Of Campsie. The people we support have an active presence within the local community and access a lot of local amenities and day services. The people we support are both male and female age ranging from 22 to 71 and have various support requirements and needs.

As a Support Worker you will be providing support with their personal care and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives, some these include; keeping them safe, taking part in activities & interests, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.

Working pattern will vary depending on which service you are assigned to. Typical shifts would include:

Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90 and can also offer extra earning potential. Nightshifts are paid at £11.88 from 11pm - 7am.

What you will need to succeed/bring to the role

  • Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes.
  • Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
  • Good IT & communication skills.
  • A full driving license is desirable.
