Make a positive difference in someone’s life by joining The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in our Fife services and helping support the people who need it most in our communities!

Requirements:

We are looking for caring, supportive, adaptable, approachable, empathetic, fun and positive individuals across several services in Cupar and St Andrews. We have full time, part time and bank hours contracts available. We are looking for staff to work day shifts with multiple home visits and as mobility cars are in use at certain sites we are therefore looking for drivers with access to own vehicles. Shifts can usually consist of short days or long days.

In addition, we have vacancies available specifically for males, in our Cupar 24hour services where there is not a requirement for the candidate to be a driving licence holder, however the candidate has to live locally in order to be able to attend shifts on time especially during public holidays and weekends. The shifts include sleepovers, they usually start 9am-11pm, followed by the sleepover, and then 7am-9am the following morning. During a sleepover shift you will be sleeping at the resident's premises, as to provide any urgent care should such a situation arise. Contract options are 16hrs or 32hrs per week. Each sleepover shift is an additional £84 on top of your annual salary.

For all posts the induction training takes place in our new Kirkcaldy office.

You will be paid for your travel time while on shift and there is also a 45p per mile fuel allowance. Certain services operate enhanced weekend rates of £14.53 per hour. Please note that all posts are offered on a shift pattern basis and will include weekend and public holiday shifts, however we have shift patterns to suit your availability as a part time or bank staff member. Please feel free to contact us on 07884602630 or nretkiewicz@trfs.org.uk to discuss your availability.

No previous experience in care is required as we provide full in-house training to all new staff members and will even invest in you to achieve your SVQ Level 2, so even if this is a new career path for you, we would love to meet you. What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude.
