About the Role

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a widely recognised supported employment model that provides a partnership approach to meet the needs of the individual. Working closely with the integrated adult community mental health services in Glasgow, you will manage a caseload of individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems in securing and sustaining paid employment.

What we are looking for

You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of best practice in employability and employment services and/or a working knowledge of mental health. Experience of IPS in particular would be an advantage, but full IPS training will be provided. We are looking for initiative, creativity, energy and determination and the ability to motivate, develop and inspire individuals to develop their self-confidence and realise their aspirations. You will be a self-starter, thrive in a multi-agency setting and have an appetite to promote this innovative approach.
