ROSEHILL CARE HOME

Rosehill, owned by the Society of the Sacred Heart, is a small 11 bedded care home in Dalkeith. Our residents enjoy personalised large en-suite bedrooms, a private lounge and access to the communal dining area. Most of our residents are Sisters from the order. We also cater for the needs of some non-religious residents.

During our most recent visit from the Care Inspectorate it was noted that without exception, residents, Sisters, relatives and carers spoke highly of the care provided at Rosehill. Our overall Care Inspectorate evaluation is “5”.

As a carer/supervisor you will assist the Care Home Manager and be able to demonstrate experience in leading and developing staff, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have experience in a care home environment with an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare SCQF Level 9. SCQF level 7 (SVQ 3) will be considered and as your employer Rosehill will pay any costs involved in obtaining two further modules for the post and provide full support on this journey.
