Housing and Homelessness Support Worker

SeAscape provide a range of services across South and East Ayrshire tackling homelessness, poverty and isolation, our vision is that ‘Everyone is given the opportunity to have a home and a place in the community of Ayrshire’.

Our Housing and Homelessness Support Workers provide person centred, positive, practical and emotional support to people across South and East Ayrshire aged 26 and over who are referred to our outreach housing and homelessness support service. This support focuses on goals, promoting positive choices and encourages personal development and responsibility.

Our Support Workers also develop and maintain positive effective professional relationships with a range of external partners to ensure support to the people who use our service is coordinated and in line with agreed identified support plans.

For this fantastic opportunity you will need at least 1 years’ experience of supporting people within a similar environment, already have or be willing to work towards a Health & Social Care qualification at minimum of SCQF Level 6, hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
