Post: Sessional Children & Young People Counsellor (school based)

Salary: £10,951.20 per annum (15 hours) £14.04 per hour

Terms: 15 hours per week sessional. Funding is available to June 2024 scope to be extended

Responsible to: Locality Manager Angus

Place of Work: Your base of work will be the TCA Angus office and you will cover the Brechin High School and cluster primary schools.

Purpose/Introduction

Are you an ambitious, creative and influential practitioner who is passionate about supporting Young People to bring about positive change in their lives?

The primary purpose of this post is to deliver counselling within a school environment, assist with the promotion and effective provision of TCA’s counselling services and to support young people with emotional and wellbeing concerns. In addition, the post holder will ensure that the services are accessible and welcoming to everyone who comes into contact with the agency. Please note you must have a Professional Counselling Qualification such as a diploma or masters to apply for this position. You must also be registered with COSCA or BACP.
