About the role This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a change or a step up.You will support the care manager to manage the day-to-day business ensuring adherence to statutory regulations.You will have responsibility of the management of the carers in the community and the office staff.Reporting to the Care Mangaer, duties include championing the care inspectorate standards, growing a strong customer base both private and local authority, maintain records and reporting, managing any complaints, promoting the rights of the service users, training, recruitment, care planning, assessments, managing absence, attending external meetings and personal training and development.

Experience and qualifications:

Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare

Ideally QCF / SVQ Levels 4 in Social Services and Healthcare or willing to work towards

Previous leadership experience within home care or residential setting.

Good knowledge of the National Care Standards.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst multi tasking
  • IT literate
