Our purpose is to provide a positive, life-changing experience for young people through individual care, education and skills development focused on promoting young people’s mental and emotional wellbeing and longer-term positive outcomes.

GSC supports vulnerable children, young people and young adults. The GSC campus just outside Bishopton offers young people a safe, nurturing and caring environment set in fabulous grounds with a garden wildlife trail and outdoor sports facility. On-campus there are three secure care houses, a close support house & two semi-independent living cottages.

Our Care & Family Co-ordinator will join our skilled, committed and experienced Wellbeing team providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment. You will support young people & their families to move forward & you will provide professional advice and contribute to our multi-disciplinary team approach.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting vulnerable young people & their families, are committed to Children’s Rights and have a social work degree or equivalent.

There is also a requirement to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within the first six months of employment. This is a legal requirement within the Care sector for individuals to be registered under the relevant category/ies within the six-month timescale of the commencement of employment.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; are adaptable, reliable, then working as part of our dedicated and experienced team may be a good move for you.
