Kidz World is an all inclusive Early Years Nursery, Out of School Club, and Softplay/Roleplay centre with approximately 350 registered children. We are based in Central Alloa and care for children from all ages of 0 through to 12 years of age.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team, and to bring extensive knowledge, ideas, and experience to the setting. We have recently significantly expanded the space available for children to learn and play and each room now has direct access to several outdoor play areas. We are looking for someone who can lead, motivate, and train our team to develop their confidence and experience in offering the wide variety of services and learning across what is an expansive setting.

The role holder is expected to have level 9 childcare qualifications, and a wealth of ideas and experience to share and develop. Knowledge of, or experience of ECO and Environmental Change initiatives towards self sustainability would also be most welcome as we are further rolling-out more measures towards becoming carbon neutral and doing so in conjunction with children, parents, and staff.

Core Responsibilities will include;

To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-12 years.

To support the performance and continuous improvement of the Nursery and OOSC through the creation of positive culture and ethos – including teamwork, flexibility and supporting one another as ‘one team’.

To provide sound advice and professional guidance to staff, promote high quality service delivery which draws upon current research in early years practice and knowledge.

To promote, and always, uphold the vision, values and aims of the business to all stakeholders.

To provide cover and support to the Head of Kidz World Nursery, OOSC & Soft Play, and the Director as and when required, and actively contribute to planning, strategy and development sessions.

The post could also be considered on a part-time basis for the right candidate.
