EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER

Full-time 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm

Salary Scale 12-15 £18,611.73 - £19,696.91 + pension

Based within Penicuik Family Learning Centre or within one of our 6 centres across Midlothian

EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER/SUPPORT WORKER – Maternity Leave Cover

Full-time 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm

(Part-time & job share considered)

Salary Scale 10-15 £17,760.83 - £19,696.91 + pension

Based within Mayfield Family Learning Centre or within one of our 6 centres across Midlothian

BANK EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER/ SUPPORT WORKER

Zero Hours Contract - Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm (must be available for 8.00am start)

Salary Scale 10-15 £17,760.83 - £19,696.91 + pension

Based within Midlothian Sure Start across our 6 centres

We are currently recruiting for 2 early years posts across our 6 Family Learning Centres. The role is to support and assist in the day-to-day running of the Playroom, creating a welcoming environment for parents and children and contributing to each child’s self development and level of autonomy.

A qualification in childcare or working towards one and a child protection certificate or commitment to undertake one is essential as is experience of working with young children. An understanding of the difficulties experienced by vulnerable families and good interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
