We are looking to recruit an Temporary Service Manager to cover the absence of our registered Manager. At NJH we are committed to driving forward the changes outlined by The Independent Care Review & are passionate about our commitment to #KeepThePromise.
The primary purpose of this post is to fill the role of the Registered Service Manager in their absence. The role will involve strategic and operational management across defined areas of the service, taking a lead role in the development and delivery of the service.
This role requires an exceptional individual who is passionate about the care of the children and young people living at NJH and can ensure the delivery of the highest standards of care, protection, and support. You should have up-to-date knowledge of child development, the effects of trauma and understand the importance of relational and reflective practice. We are looking for someone to join our team who values the importance of love and growth and who is passionate about supporting those around them to embrace opportunities and create shared memories.
You will be expected to work closely with the company directors and Safeguarding Board, driving change, growth and maintaining standards throughout the service. You should therefore have proven experience of working in a residential child care environment at a Registered Manager level. In addition, you will have sound knowledge and experience of regulatory frameworks governing residential child care and an understanding of private sector provision.
To be eligible to apply you should possess a Management & Leadership Level 9 or equivalent, HNC or equivalent is essential. You should be registered or eligible to register with the SSSC under the register of Manager of a Residential Child Care Service with no conditions. You should also be registered or eligible to register as a member of PVG scheme and possess a full clean driving licence.
The post will involve participation in an on-call rota and willingness to cover shifts if required
