Early Years Professionals Required

Wee Mack’s are seeking experienced and professional practitioners to join our family-owned, independent setting with a variety of roles available.

Our Leith nursery, accessible by bus and tram from all over Edinburgh, is in a beautiful 17th century sandstone church building with a spacious and modern interior spanning over 9500sqft of floor space over 3 floors.

Due to high demand in the local area, we are planning to expand our flagship nursery within our existing building which will increase our current provision and enhance further the stunning and unique child-centred environment we are creating for all age groups.

If you are an Early Years professional looking for a fresh challenge in a lower management position, in a nurturing, professional setting we could be the organisation for you.

We are looking for candidates who have;

• minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience
• excellent interpersonal skills
• confidence when completing paperwork tasks
• a proven track record
• a focus on commitment
• ‘can-do' attitude that can help us drive our nursery and future plans forward with success

We have both permanent and fixed term contract opportunities at Wee Mack’s and competitive employee benefits.

Starting salaries range from £28080 - £32240 based on a 40hr week.

Location: Constitution Street, Leith

Hours: From 37 hours worked over 5 days (flexible and open to discussion based on candidate needs)

Holidays: 28 days plus Christmas shutdown
