Location:  Kingswells Care Home
Duration:  Permanent, Full Time

Job Purpose:

To manage the preparation and serving of meals in a nutritious, safe, hygienic and
efficient manner.

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum: 

An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake and pass 
this course within 6 months

Responsibilities

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Awareness of risks within a kitchen environment

Ability to follow defined recipes for the preparation of meals

Guide and direct assistants to assist with hygiene within the kitchen and the
basic preparation of food
