Cluster Cleaning Supervisor

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cluster Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Stonehaven.  The role will involve management and supervision of the cleaning teams within all school settings in the Stonehaven Community School Network so previous supervisory experience would be preferred.  The role is a 29 hour per week vacancy and the working hours can be negotiable across a 5-day working pattern (Monday to Friday) but will cover times when the cleaning teams are in schools (i.e., a combination of early morning or late afternoon/early evenings).  

The successful candidate will be required to build effective working relationships with a team of around 50 colleagues and have the necessary skills to communicate effectively with a range of individuals to ensure high standards of service delivery.

The post holder will be required to travel between sites in the Stonehaven Community School Network, therefore a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role with mileage paid at the appropriate rate.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. 

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.  Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
