Live Life Aberdeenshire has an exciting opportunity for an experienced museums professional on a full-time basis for up to two years.
A priority will be to represent the service to deliver on its ambitions for our new multi-million-pound Cultural Quarter in Peterhead, and drive forward the relevance of our museum spaces, exhibits and programmes in other parts of Aberdeenshire.
The post of Museums Development Coordinator will also be responsible for the overall governance and management of Aberdeenshire’s Museum Collection and archives, and the ongoing efficiency of daily operations. Other responsibilities include the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and preparation of reports to ensure the Service retains Accreditation status.
The post will be based at the Discovery Centre at Museums HQ in Mintlaw. You will report to the Cultural Engagement Manager who is responsible for the teams across heritage, libraries, and arts.
Secondment opportunities will be considered based on the advertised salary, subject to candidates having the mutual consent of their current employer.
