Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen to appoint a Service Manager for the Economic Development Service. The service provides support to business, social enterprise and industry, supports the delivery of the Aberdeen City Region Deal, delivery of the regeneration and place programmes, coordinates and manages access to external funding, delivery of the employability service and manages the delivery of the Business Gateway Service on behalf of Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City. We require an enthusiastic and dynamic leader who has worked in the economic development profession at a senior level with a knowledge of our key industries.

It is Aberdeenshire Council’s procedure that applicants for vacancies of this nature require to attend an assessment centre as well as interview.
