This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Adviser to join the Council’s Business Gateway team, providing high quality advice and support directly to Argyll and Bute’s small and medium sized enterprises. 

Working with pre-start, start-up, existing and growing businesses, you will provide one-to-one support through video, telephone, email and face-to-face meetings, as well as delivering workshops or webinars to suit the needs of local businesses. You will also appraise grant applications and contribute to the development of the service.

The post is full time and the location within Argyll and Bute is negotiable. Team members are working from home at present, with travel required across Argyll and Bute to support clients and meet partners or council colleagues supporting businesses. 

Interviews will be held in person in Lochgilphead on Thursday 20thApril. As well as a face-to-face interview, we will ask you to deliver a short presentation (topic given in advance), complete a 30 minute financial information exercise (brief issued on the day) and meet the team.
