An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Justice Social Work Service to deliver an increased range of interventions to service users throughout Argyll and Bute. 

This post will be aimed at enhancing the availability of diversion from prosecution, bail supervision and structured deferred sentences in remote and rural communities.

The successful candidate will be motivated to increase the life chances of service users subject to Court disposals whilst contributing to community safety.

  • This post is not suitable for job share. 
  • This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with both children and adults.
  • This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s line manager.
