An opportunity has arisen to join our small independent reviewing Team known.

The Team Chair reviews for our care experienced children and young people, child protection case conferences, and investigates complaints.

Reviewing officers have a critical role in assuring the quality of our social work practice and multiagency support to children and their families, driving effective care planning, and ensuring families and children are genuine partners at the centre of decision-making in line with The Promise.

Applicants must be registered social workers, have extensive experience in statutory and child protection social work, and be committed to the highest professional standards and to the values and principles of The Promise.

  • This post is not suitable for job share. 
  • This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with both children and adults.
  • The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post.  
  • This post requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
