This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead in the further development, implementation and maintenance of the Moving and Handling processes and procedures across the Council, in particular the training of Social Work and Education staff, external staff in partner agencies and family members.

The successful candidate should have experience of working with clients with mobility issues, health and safety risk assessment processes, multi-agency and partnership, eg, with the NHS as part of a Health and Social Care Partnership and be able to communicate effectively on such matters and to provide advice and guidance to colleagues.

The post is full time and the location is negotiable, although there would be a requirement to occasionally work from the Council’s headquarters in Lochgilphead.

In line with current Council guidelines we can work at home at this time.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing 20 May 2024.
