Class Teacher - Fixed term until 28/6/2023
Braidburn Special School

Salary: £28113- £42336 per year (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 11.9  per week (Thursdays and Fridays)

Situated in the south-west of Edinburgh, Braidburn School provides a supportive learning environment for learners with additional support needs aged 2½ to 18 years old.

Teachers may be required to work in any department of the school so applications are welcomed from both Primary and Secondary teachers.

Braidburn benefits from on-site multi-disciplinary therapy and medical teams in addition to our education staff. This helps our learners achieve their full potential.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
