An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join the staff team within Clovenstone Care Home  providing ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people. 

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with proven experience to be accountable for the management and effective running of a Care Home for Older People who thrives in leading change and daily challenges within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.

You will have a proven track record of leading services within the health and social care environment, have an excellent grasp of adult protection, regulation and guidance, establishing best practice in meeting needs of older people in residential care. You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.You will lead a service with high standards and will work with highly capable, enthusiastic staff, all of whom want to make a positive difference to the lives of adults.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
