Early Years Practitioner - Fixed Term until 01/12/2023
Queensferry Primary Early Learning and Childcare

Salary: £24,890- £28,854 per year(Pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 18 per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Queensferry Primary Early Learning & Childcare. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a part time fixed term basis. Our recently re-named service delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 0-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays. Our current nursery improvement plan includes developing numeracy rich play environments (inside and outdoors), maximising engagement with parents and carers and improving approaches to listening to children's views.

The hours will be worked over 3 days (Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays) on a shift pattern between the hours of 7:45am and 6pm.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
