We are a Catholic Primary school that has been part of the Lochend community since the 1930’s. We have 29 children attending our nursery, and have been delivering 1140 hours for three years now.  In the main school we have 195 children in 9 classes and we have one composite class at the P4/5 stage.   

Our nursery class and school population are very diverse.  We have children of many nationalities with 21 different home languages being spoken.

Within the School Leadership Team there is a Head Teacher, a Depute Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher and apart-time Business Manager.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
