Job Description

The postholder will:

 

report directly to the Senior Manager of Legal & Governance although advice and support may be taken from other officers where appropriate;

have supervisory responsibilities for licensing support officers as well as working closely with the legal services team;

have contact with officers in other services within the Council at all levels;

have regular contact with the Clerk and Chair of both the Licensing and Regulatory Boards as well as other elected members who form part of the these Boards;

have contact with various third parties including Police Scotland, Central Scotland Fire Board, Scottish Office, solicitors and other agents, licensees (pub owners, taxi drivers, street traders and so on) to assist with licensing and regulatory matters.
