Job Description
The successful candidate will join the HITRANS team.
You will assist HITRANS and CNES in providing and maintaining the provision of sustainable transport in the Western Isles. You will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of active travel infrastructure improvements (walking and cycling), behaviour change interventions, and the improvement of roadside and online public transport information in the Western Isles, as part of the shared service HITRANS provides to partner local authorities.
Based in the Western Isles, with the option to work from home, the post holder may be expected to travel within the Western Isles as the post demands.
The above post is on a fixed term basis for 18 months.

Requirements
You will have good communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build relationships with partners, supporters and the general public is essential. Educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent relevant work related experience you will understand the distinctive transport needs in the Western Isles and have experience of in financial administration.
