Outdoor Learning Manager, Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais (5353)
18.5 hours per week, Permanent Post
£18,645 to £20,266 per annum, inclusive of £1,371 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
The post holder will be required to manage and develop the Outdoor Learning Service within the Authority. You will have line manager responsibilities for outdoor learning, relief and seasonal staff delivering outdoor activities and maintenance of the Adventure Activities Licensing (AALA) Accreditation.
You must have knowledge of current legislation and familiarity with new/existing developments in outdoor learning. The ability to deliver training for staff and volunteers in a range of outdoor learning skills is essential.
You must be educated to degree level, or equivalent.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children and adults.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
