Senior Clerical Assistant (15/142)

Based Cargen Tower, Dumfries, post will be part of the integrated Business Services Team which provides a full range of clerical and administrative support.

 

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated and proactive individual to be part of the Core Services Admin Hub.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and progressive team in a fast paced challenging but rewarding environment.

 

Duties include input, update and interrogation of data utilising various database systems.

 

You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, employees and managers.

 

General clerical duties associated with an office environment.

 

You will be required to deal with simple financial transactions.

 

You will be educated to Higher Grade or hold SVQ Level 2 in related subject.

 

You must have experience working with members of the public, with a core skill of communicating with clients/customers.

 

You will possess good organisational and communication skills and have previous experience within a busy team environment.

 

A good knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential, with good knowledge of Dumfries & Galloway’s financial/HR/Performance Monitoring and Health & Safety practices being desirable.

 

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 7.12hrs
